Dr. Vinay Chougule is one of the leading Urologists in Kolhapur, practising since the last 14 years. Since 2005 he has been running the Jaya Urology Hospital, which is centrally located in the New Shahupuri area of Kolhapur. He has served as Assistant Professor of Urology at Krishna Medical College, Karad.

He has also secured M.CH urology and DNB Genitourinary Urology Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital Mumbai.

Dr. Chougule stood first in the University in ENT and second in Surgery at the MBBS examination. He completed the MS degree in General Surgery through VM Medical College in Solapur.

Huge number, 8140 of Ureteroscopies (endoscopic removal of stone from ureter without any incision) have been performed with very good results, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) surgeries of around 2457 which involve endoscopic removal of kidney stone through a small 1.5 cm incision, prostate surgeries –TURP 3,260 and bladder cancer – TURBT – 550.

A Limca book record of endoscopic removal of 451 stones from single kidney by endoscopic method was achieved by Dr Chougule of a financially very poor and complicated patient.
